Since she was the one in the family with the BIG dining room she hosted most holidays and many many Sunday dinners. Thanks to you I've been able to fill out those corners of the dinner set which have been broken or badly chipped. I have a hobby of l8th and l9th C cooking and enjoy using period tableware. I've left you all positive FB, but they don't really give you enough room to give detailed statements. The cups and saucers ARE perfect! They came so quickly, I was almost in disbelief, and the packaging was very professional. If you ever get any rimmed soup bowls in this pattern, Noritake Norma 7016, please, please let me know. Thirty years ago my wife and I, newlyweds then, were assured at a very reputable store that Minton's Grasmere was a pattern that was here to stay. I was a young lieutenant then, and knew that acquiring a full set of china was going to be a years-long process, just from the financial standpoint. Well, Grasmere was NOT "here to stay," and finding pieces such as this one has required inordinate patience and a great deal of luck. Edward R.

The glassware was well wrapped and professionally packed (had a great time chasing the stryo chips off my floor and clothes). 6/21/2006 3:44:00 PM	Thank you so much for sending me the sugar bowl. It arrived in excellent condition. As I went to put it away, the top came off and headed to the floor. This is how my (first) sugar bowl top broke as it hit my kitchen floor, which is ceramic tile. My heart started beating much faster, and I leaned forward. The top hit the counter and did not break! What a relief. As a result, I decided to move the sugar bowl and creamer to the bottom shelf from the top shelf. Moving is quite an adventure. Hope this part is over. At least I know where to come if I break something else. JoAnn
